Backups setup
Before you select backup method and set backups to run, you need to first setup backups storages credentials.
You will set backups storages settings inside Xagio dashboard - settings tab - backup settings
Once you have configured backup storages, you will proceed with setting up backups. Further setup is done inside Backups tab.
Under Manage Backups section, for each site individually, you will set backups setting:
- Storage method: - none - in case you don't want backups to be taken for particular site
- Sftp - for custom server storage
- Dropbox
- Google Drive
- OneDrive
- Amazon S3 cloud hosting
- Backup schedule can be set to run: - never(to never run backups)
- daily
- weekly
- monthly
- Limit - here you will select how many backups files you want to be taken( 5, 10,20, 50)
After selecting storage method, backup schedule and a limit you will click on create backup button.
Backup progress you can see under actions button(dropdown menu) view backup progress
If backup couldn't be taken, you will see an error under view backup progress.
For the most usual, timeout error you will need to set higher limits in your site's cpanel.
